Trail Ride Snowdonia
Stay at our bikers accommodation in the heart of Snowdonia
For group bookings - please contact us for dates and requirements. We can accommodate large groups and can offer catering options from cooked breakfasts, to campfire meals, to 3-course meals, to feast tables.
Join us and fellow Moto Junkies for a short biker break at MotoCamp Wales Stay in one of our self-catering lodges for the night. Take a walk around our 20-acre site and enjoy the sunset from our natural bench - a fallen beach tree - that offers a spectacular 360 view, with the sunset on one side and Cadair Idris on the other. Walk around our woods for a little owl spotting at dusk, or enjoy our campfire which offers a beautiful view across the grounds.
The following morning we will meet you after breakfast which you will take in your lodge (simple breakfast provided), and start our ride around the beautiful Snowdonia National Park around 9 am.
Our groups take a steady day, going at a pace to suit you and the terrain, and enjoying the scenery with an expert guide who will offer advice as and when required.
Wales has an abundance of beautiful back roads and byways, and our local knowledge will see you make the most of what's available.
We will stop for lunch at one of the local cafes. We'll also stop at a couple of local beauty spots along the way. This is a relaxed day with the promise of many giggles and highlights - but do expect the odd challenge and do expect mud and rocks!
Enjoy your Saturday night at one of our many wonderful pubs/restaurants in town, or have a BBQ and beer by the fire. Our lodges also have fully equipped kitchens, so the choice is yours. Our nearest shop is half a mile away if you need supplies.
On Sunday we will take in more road and trail and loosely finish around 3 pm allowing you time to load up and get home in good time. You can add an extra night or two if you wish on a self-catering basis. There are plenty of activities in the area from mountain biking to walking, to just chilling at our stunning base with a good book (extra nights are subject to availability. Please contact us to enquire).
These events are suitable for all levels and will be adapted to the groups' abilities. However, Welsh trails can be challenging and we cover many miles on rocky and sometimes slippery terrain. If you have never been off the tarmac, you must attend our Train4Trails day first to gain the basic skills required for trail riding.
To ensure a smooth flow for each group, we offer two options. Please ensure you book on the correct group to suit your riding ability or preference.
This event is suitable for all levels, but if you book on this day, expect a mixed-ability group. We are likely to take a slower pace and cover fewer miles allowing for photos and an overall more relaxed approach.
Bring your own bike or hire one of ours.
These days are for confident trail riders only, please. The trails will at times be challenging and physical, so please don't choose this day if you have little previous experience. Dates are shown separately for these on the booking calendar.
If you are not sure if your bike is suitable then please contact us before booking.
We have one women-only date which is the 7th to 9th June 2024. Please click on this date to book.
Groups size - 6 to 8 riders with two guides.
