Remember, Remember: Bonfire Weekend at MotoCamp Wales Returns for Year Five!
Remember, remember the 6th to the 8th of November… and get it in your diaries!
Our Bonfire Weekend returns to MotoCamp Wales from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 November 2026, and this year feels extra special. It marks the fifth year of what’s quickly become one of our favourite Moto Junkies traditions.
This is a social weekend in the stunning surroundings of Snowdonia National Park. It’s about arriving on Friday, settling in, meeting old friends, making new ones, and enjoying a proper autumn weekend around the fire.
There’s a bar, live music, open-fire cooking, local ale, dogs, good company and a huge bonfire on Saturday evening. What more could you want?
A weekend built around good company
Bonfire Weekend isn’t a formal riding event. There are no guided rides included and no packed itinerary to follow.
That’s rather the point.
You can arrive at MotoCamp Wales on Friday afternoon, pitch your tent, settle into your pod or unpack in the lodge, then wander over to see what’s happening. We’ll be getting the fire ready, building the bonfire and making a Guy together.
During the day, there’s always something to do, although nothing is officially organised. Some people head out for a ride, others enjoy a walk or hike around the beautiful local countryside, and plenty simply stay at camp with a brew and a chat.
Fancy stretching your legs? Go for it. Want to spend the afternoon talking bikes beside the fire? That works too.
You can make the weekend as active or as relaxed as you like.

Making the Guy together is all part of the Bonfire Weekend fun.
Friday arrival, Saturday bonfire
Friday afternoon is all about getting comfortable and easing into the weekend.
MotoCamp Wales sits in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, so you’ll have wonderful scenery on your doorstep. As the light fades and the temperature drops, the fire becomes the natural meeting point. Wrap up warm, grab a drink and join us for an evening of food, conversation and plenty of laughter.
Saturday brings more relaxed daytime fun before the main event. We’ll gather around the big bonfire in the evening, watch the flames take hold and enjoy live music from 2 Sick Steves.
They were a big hit at Burning Bike, and we’re delighted to have them joining us for Bonfire Weekend. Expect a lively atmosphere, plenty of toe-tapping and a soundtrack that carries brilliantly across the campsite.
There’ll be no fireworks. This is a dog and wildlife-friendly event, so we keep things simple: just the warmth of the fire, live music, good food and great company.
Dogs are very welcome, provided they’re happy and safe around people, music and an outdoor event.
Open-fire food from Tom and the team
There’s something wonderfully comforting about eating outdoors in November. The smell of woodsmoke, the warmth of the fire and a hot meal in your hands… it’s hard to beat.
Tom and the team will be cooking on the open fire on Friday and Saturday night, with breakfast butties available on Saturday and Sunday morning. Please support Tom by buying your food at the event rather than bringing your own, wherever possible.
The menu includes:
Dutch oven beef chilli
Three-bean campfire chilli, suitable for vegans and gluten-free diners
Jacket potatoes
Hot dogs served in brioche rolls
Campfire toffee apples
Prices are:
Chilli and loaded jacket potato: £8.50
Smoked hot dog: £4.50
Campfire toffee apple: £2.50
We’ll also have free tea and coffee all weekend, so you can keep your mug topped up while you catch up with friends or watch the fire burn down.

The bar, Purple Moose and a proper Welsh welcome
The bar stays open throughout the weekend, with plenty of Purple Moose, our lovely local ale, available to enjoy around the fire.
Food and drink aren’t included in your ticket, so you can simply pay as you go during the weekend. We think that keeps things nice and easy, whether you fancy a full bowl of chilli, a hot dog after the music starts or just a hot drink while you’re out in the fresh air.
Please remember to bring suitable warm and waterproof clothing. November in Snowdonia can be wonderfully crisp, but it can also be wet and chilly. Layers, sturdy footwear and something warm for the evening are all good ideas.

Choose your stay
You can make a proper weekend of it with two nights at MotoCamp Wales. Your ticket includes accommodation or camping for Friday and Saturday night, with the option to add an extra Sunday night at checkout.
Available options are:
Camping pitch: £50 for two nights, for up to two people
Pod: £100 for two nights, for up to two people
Twin room in the lodge: £185 for two nights, for up to two people
Bonfire evening only: £5
Moto Junkies Members: free camping
Locals can attend the bonfire evening for free, and Moto Junkies Members receive free camping.
Accommodation is limited, so if you’d like to stay in a pod or lodge, it’s worth booking early. Camping is a brilliant option too, especially when you can return to your tent after a night of music and firelight without needing to drive anywhere.
Add a ZERO X-Line Experience on Saturday
Want to add a little electric adventure to your weekend?
You can book an optional ZERO X-Line Experience session on Saturday. This is a two-hour session on a Zero X Line electric bike with Sera, giving you the chance to experience a very different kind of motorcycle.
There’s no engine roar. Just the sound of the tyres, the wind and the countryside around you.
The session costs £50, and places are limited. You can add it to your booking at checkout, or book the X-Line Experience directly here.

The X-Line session is optional, of course. You can come along purely for the social weekend, the food and the bonfire.
