The Big Welsh Adventure

Join us for the ultimate adventure ride in Wales 

 

A fully supported epic adventure ride from North to South and back again using our famously twisty roads and epically wild trails. 

 

This Celtic loop will start from MotoCamp Wales in Southern Snowdonia and see us riding the spine of the dragon, through the stunning scenery of Snowdonia National Park and the Brecon Beacons. We will take in forest roads, twisties, reservoirs, lakes, mountains, castles, and beautiful coastlines.

You will return to our beautiful base (MotoCamp Wales) for the second night after your adventure ride in the northern part of Eryri. You will then head south for two nights before returning for dinner and a campfire back at the base. 

​

This is the only way to see Wales in all its glory. 

​

This ride is not limited to road OR trail and each day will have a mixture of the two. This ride is suitable for all dual-sport bikes and all levels of riders  (you must have basic off-road skills. If not, join us for one of our Train4Trails events first). 

 

(Please be aware that Wales does have a lot of hills and rocky sections. If you bring a bigger bike, you really need some experience of riding it off-road first, and if you are fairly new to off-road then do expect a few challenges along the way. We work as a team, so fear not! However, if you do struggle or get tired and decide you are done with trails for the day, we can offer some wonderful road alternatives at any point in the tour. We want you to enjoy the ride!) 

 

This is not a trail-heavy tour. In total, it will be about 70% amazing roads and 30% beautiful trails.

You will be riding either a Royal Enfield Himalayan, a Honda CRF250/300, or your own bike.

​

This is an adventure ride. The trails will be kept to terrain that is suitable for dual-sport bikes and we will cover between 130 and 160 miles per day with a support vehicle carrying our luggage to the next stop.

 

This trip is not designed for enduro bikes. If you are bringing your own bike, think more along the lines of 300L to Himalayan to Africa Twin. Something that you are comfortable doing the miles on - but also prepared to get dirty and tackle some small technical sections! This is Wales after all!

 

You WILL need suitable tyres and we recommend something in the region of a 50/50 dual-sport tyre.

Accommodation will be varied, comfortable, and picturesque!
