The Big Welsh Adventure
Join us for the ultimate adventure ride in Wales from coast2coast and back!
A fully supported epic adventure ride from the North Wales coast to the South Wales coast and back again using the famous roads and wild trails that Wales has to offer.
This Celtic loop will start from the Great Orme in Llandudno and see us riding the spine of the dragon, through the stunning scenery of Snowdonia National Park, Pembrokeshire, and the Brecon Beacons. We will take in forest roads, twisties, reservoirs, lakes, mountains, and beautiful coastline.
The is the only way to see Wales in all its glory.
Not limited to road OR trail, this ride is suitable for all dual-sport bikes.
You will be riding either a Royal Enfield Himalayan or your own bike. We have 3 spaces for each. This is a small group event with only 6 places available.
This will be a road and trail trip. The trails will be kept to terrain suitable for any dual-sport bike and we will cover roughly 150 miles per day with a support vehicle carrying our luggage to the next stop.
This trip is not designed for enduro bikes. If you are bringing your own bike, think more 250L to Himalayan to Africa Twin or GS. Something that you are comfortable doing the miles on.
You WILL need suitable tyres and we recommend something in the region of a 60/40 road tyre. This will be roughly the mix of our riding.
Our halfway point will be Pendine Sands in South Wales. A seven-mile-long beach, famous for many land speed records. The first person to do this was, of course, Malcolm Campbell. On 25 September 1924 he set a world land speed record of 146.16 mph on Pendine Sands in his Sunbeam 350HP car Blue Bird. if the conditions are right and permission is granted, we hope for a ride ourselves, but maybe not quite at that speed!
Accommodation will be varied, comfortable, and picturesque!
We will meet in Llandudno on Thursday evening and get to know each other as we enjoy a nice dinner and discuss our plans for the ride ahead. Our ride will officially start on Friday morning from The Great Orme, and finish on Monday evening back in Llandudno. Your hotel will be included for that night, and you can leave at your leisure on Tuesday morning.
If you are bringing your bike in a van and leaving it for this time, you will need to arrange parking yourself. We can help if needed.
