Women Only Trip - 5th to the 12th September 2024

This is going to be one hell of a road trip with great riding, music, culture, and scenery! What else is there to say? Oh, go on then...

Meet at Steph's place (MotoCamp Wales) for dinner and a glass of wine or two. Chill around the campfire with the dogs and discuss the road ahead with your traveling companions for the next week. Come early and get some walking in before dinner, or just bring a good book. We also have a snug with a great CD collection and a log fire if you prefer to be indoors.

And they're off...

Heading down the west coast of Wales, we'll catch the ferry at Fishguard.  Navigation is relatively easy. Just keep the sea to the right! There'll be plenty of views across the glorious Cardigan Bay as we head down the coast, stopping for ice cream at Aberystwyth of course.  It's a must! We'll then catch the afternoon ferry to the Emerald Isle where it will be a short ride to our second night's accommodation.

Take in the stunning bays, peninsulas, and Irish hospitality as we make our way across to the West Coast via Killarney National Park. This road trip will not forget the important elements required to make the best memories. You've just got to have live music and a drink of an evening for sure! When in Ireland...

We will ride the famous Ring of Kerry route, Beallach Beema Pass, Molls Gap, and Valentia Island (Ireland's most Westerly point). We'll encounter some incredible coastal riding, high mountain passes, and craggy cliffs including The Conor Pass - Irealand's highest mountain pass which provides the most dramatic and scenic way of entering or leaving Dingle. This narrow, twisting road runs along the north side of the peninsula and on through Castlegregory to Tarbert, and then onto the Killimer Ferry where you will appreciate one of the many wonders of the Wild Atlantic Way, with ever-changing scenery...

The Cliffs of Moher in County Clare are Ireland’s most visited natural attraction with a magical vista that captures the hearts of one million visitors every year and is a Signature Discovery Point in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way. They stretch for 8km as the crow flies, along the Atlantic coast of County Clare in the west of Ireland and reach 214m (702 feet) at their highest point.

Take in the nightlife and culture of Galway and enjoy the amazing music and unrivaled hospitality of Ireland at every stage of your trip before we make our way over to Dublin for the ferry back to the mainland.

We say our goodbyes at Holyhead with priceless memories and new riding buddies.
