Dirty Weekend - Glamped!
A wonderful weekend in the Welsh hills of Snowdonia National Park
Come and enjoy the green lanes of Snowdonia National Park with Moto Junkies whilst experiencing the fine dining and luxury cabins/bell tents at the Nick Sanders Expedition Centre in Machynlleth, Mid Wales.
Join us at the centre on Friday for afternoon tea followed by a 3-course meal (and wine) cooked by the super talented Dr. Caroline (Nicks wife). Have a drink at the bar and retire at leisure to one of the cabins or bell tents inspired by various places around the world (Patagonia Cabin/Route 66 Cabin etc). All accommodation is single occupancy.
On Saturday morning we have a beautifully cooked breakfast and a briefing before we hit the trails. Guidance and tuition available every step of the way for newbies! Don't worry - we gotcha!
We ride all day (grabbing a simple lunch en route) and take in the beautiful world-class scenery. Working with mixed ability groups, we offer harder loops for the riders who really like a challenge and gentle potter loops for those who just want to take their time and enjoy the views.
We return for tea and cake, and after another well-earned 3-course meal on Saturday evening, we will gather around the fire pit or in the bar and no doubt talk about that day's adventures. Have a guitar? Bring it along.
Sunday, after a full Welsh breakfast, we ride again before making our way home late afternoon.
Warm showers and tea available before you leave if you wish.
If you are unsure if your bike is suitable, feel free to give me a shout.
This is a very relaxed weekend with the promise of many giggles.
